Let's Keep an Open Mind!

Non-Judgement

The goal of this lesson is to introduce the concept of non-judgment and for teaching children to understand the importance of being good listeners and not making up their minds before they hear the whole story.

Being open-minded and nonjudgmental is critical to building cultural competence and for fostering respectful communication and civil dialogue.

The goal of the lesson

This lesson is intended as a support to help parents, teachers and caregivers teach children ages 5-7 about non-judgement - what it is, why it's important and how we use it.
