Be Responsible - Be a Leader!

Be a leader, make good choices.

To live The Golden Rule, we have to understand that we each have the power to choose how to treat people. And we need to understand that there is a consequence for what we do and say, and everything we say and do is a reflection of a choice that we have made.

When we make a choice to use our power in positive ways and treat people well, good things usually happen. But when we make a choice to use our power and mistreat people, we have to live with the consequences of that.

Responsibility is about taking charge, being a leader and making good decisions.

The goal of the lesson

This lesson is intended as a support to help parents, teachers and caregivers teach children ages 5-7 about responsibility - what it is, why it's important and how we use it.
